Brothers & Sisters Mini Kit **Freebie** and Contest

Here's a mini kit I made with matching colors to "Brothers & Sisters" full size kit available at Southern Comfort Scraps.
The colors are soft and I enjoyed creating the flower embellishments both in the mini kit and full kit very much. I hope that you will enjoy them too.

You can download the mini kit from the links below the pictures. And guess what? you also get a chance to win the full size kit, all you have to do is create a page using the mini you downloaded and post it to your blog or any scrapbooking gallery of your choice and then I will pick a winner at random. The contest ends 20th of July. Don't forget to post the link to your page in the comments below! Best of luck!

I leave you now with pictures of the full size kit, and the freebie mini:

  3. Thank you. This is a lovely mini kit. Tell me something. What program do you use to open and use these kits? I've collected several but I find that Word isn't exactly the best to manipulate items in. This may be a crazy question but I'm wondering what is the best program to use. TFS

  4. Hi Nona!
Yes, I agree, Word can be a real pain when dealing with pictures and moving them around. There are several programs out there specifically for scrapbooking, though I haven't tried any of them, so I can't really recommend any.
Photo editing programs will work just as good, there are the famous Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro, these are commercial ones, and pretty costly, but they are great for photo editing.
There are also free ones like GIMP and Paint.NET, I've tried both and they are really good.
Here are the links to their websites, where you can download them for free:

Let me know if you find these useful to you.
